Order this package to screen patients for Phospholipid Antibody Syndrome.

Includes testing for the most common type of phospholipid antibodies: Lupus-Like Inhibitor (LLI), Cardiolipin Antibodies, and Beta 2 Glycoprotein Antibodies.

LLI portion of the panel cannot be performed on samples containing >1.0 IU/ml heparin or on samples with INR >3.50.
|
Also included in the Hypercoagulable Panel (HCPAN).

SERUM (GOLD TOP): Hemolyzed, lipemic or contaminated samples are unacceptable |
Specimen Processing Instructions: | BLUE TOPS: Prepare and freeze 1 aliquot of Platelet-Poor Plasma from each blue top tube. Refer to the Platelet-Poor Plasma Preparation document above. |
GOLD TOP: Allow gold top to clot for 20-30 minutes. Centrifuge and separate serum into 2 transport tubes. | |
